Google 新推出 Gmail Mobile 服務，讓大夥可透過手機讀取您的 Gmail（http://m.gmail.com）。雖然我們總有些偏方可以讓手機來讀取 Gmail，不過我們已經習慣了透過 POP 的方式讀取 Gmail，而且也用了一陣了。不過如果好幾天都沒有收email，有一個針對手機設計的理想網頁介面讓我們讀取 email，有誰比 Google 更適合來作這件事呢？

不僅如此，您還可以在手機上閱讀email的附件，且搭配附件轉換服務，您可閱讀 Word 或 PDF 等檔案格式。不過有一些原本 Gmail 所賦有的功能將不能使用，例如電子郵件自動完成以及從主 Gmail 自動存取的功能。

但 Gmail Mobile 仍有一些新的功能使用，包括經常往返的聯絡人清單以及用電話回覆該封電子郵件（不過使用這必須在Gmail設定寄件人的電話號碼）。目前 Gmail Mobile的服務目前僅適用於美國手機用戶，使用者的手機則必須支援網頁瀏覽功能，未來 Google 將儘快將服務擴大到其他地區。
