Probably the other half being French. Get off it, there is no reason in the world why anyone should be embarassed to be an American or even "half American" which is about the most retarded thing I've ever heard. American isn't like being Irish or German or Arab or Chinese because they all fit the bill of potentially being American. Americans are embarassed to have you call yourself one of us.
