並不急著和iStation i2一樣滿頭大汗的打擊色情， BestaPro DMP-1的出現讓人毫無疑問的相信來自南韓的PMP製造商，這次面對競爭對手可真是來勢洶洶。DMP-1有引以為傲的20GB硬碟，64MB記憶體、一個320 x 240觸控式可調整LCD顯示器，可播放一般音樂軟體(MP3、WMA、ADPCM、WAV)及影音(MPEG-1、DivX及Xvid MPEG-4)播放格式、FM收音機、TV輸出、並有USB1.1介面，例如可透過數位相機傳輸照片。全機呈亮黑色，尺寸及重量均比i2大上10-15%。而有別於2，DMP1同時還自誇配有一百三十萬像素鏡頭可拍靜物及攝影、SD擴充槽以及具有PDA功能性的內建大英百科全書及電子辭典。
